This place is great. I'm not a fan of oatrich after visiting, but you'd have to go there to understand what I mean. The deer are beautiful and the Zebu are the fattest I've ever seen. It takes a lot of food to get through though.
Great place to see animals you wouldn't normally see in this area. A bit pricy, but well worth it. Kids will love seeing the animals and the ability to feed them. If you're going to go here, don't forget the feed buckets they sell at the gate. Be careful, though. Some of the animals will take the buckets with them when you close the window.
There was a discrepancy with the cost as we went on a discounted day and used a coupon.. but once I brought it to their attention it was quickly corrected with no question. With the walking attractions were open a little later than 5 especially if the last car is let in at 4. We got there around 3 I believe and had very little time to walk around after driving through the park.. aside from that it was great and the kids had a great time!
We had the most amazing time here. We laughed and laughed and it was really enjoyable. The drive through the park is actually long and meandering with lots of different animals to see. Just make sure you get a lot of feed because the ostriches are very aggressive with their feeding lol... Definitely a must do event!
We had lots of fun even though it was very cold outside and we were the last customer of the day. It's interesting to see how some of the animals have learned to game the system. Towards the beginning, there was a pack of 3 teenager(?) Zebras that rushed the car window and immediately grabbed the food bucket! The camels (who were much more polite) then chased the zebras away! The ostriches are pushy with the other animals, but the kids had lots of fun keeping the lookout and sounding an "ostrich alert". We're definitely coming back on a warmer day!
